The business known as market leaders, but were now being overtaken by leaner, smarter competitors and were now in a loss making situation. Operating as three separate businesses and as such in silos lacked focus and direction.
Asked to assess the business and develop an initial, short term solution along with a more long term strategic plan to be presented to the board and then implemented.
- Developed strategic plan for both UK and International markets.
- Created one functional sales and commercial team cross selling all products and solutions globally.
- Instrumental in developing Product Roadmap and the launch of two new products.
- Advised on restructuring sales team by releasing under-performing staff and employing new focussed individuals, along with changing the structure and roles of individuals, so becoming more efficient.
